A DNS record, a meta tag, or a verification file ties the record to the exact domain you control. Ownership is checked again when the site is rescanned.

Good questions.
Honest answers.
Trust is easier when the boundaries are clear.
Is this an ISO or SOC 2 certification?+
No. TrustCertia runs passive website checks and hosts transparent disclosures. ISO, SOC 2, GDPR, and AI Act entries remain owner statements, with any supplied audit or evidence links.
Can I try it before creating an account?+
Yes. The dashboard and sample certificate are interactive demos. Try the sample review form, explore check evidence, or step through the analysis wizard. Real verification requires an account and domain ownership.
How is a badge different from a static image?+
The badge links to an independent record and loads current status. The script verifies the embedding hostname. A PNG export is a visual snapshot; the hosted record remains authoritative.
What does a community level mean?+
Levels measure the amount of feedback from distinct reviewers. Stars and Legit/Not legit votes are opinions, not audits or proof that a website is safe.
Will it work with my framework?+
The ownership and badge interfaces work with websites built in React, Next.js, Svelte, Vue, Astro, or another stack. Backend technology and deployment providers are disclosed separately from automated observations.
Can I install TrustCertia as an app?+
A web app manifest and a service worker provide PWA support. The offline page deliberately avoids caching private account information or stale certificate status.
